I’m pleased to announce that on September 24th, 2015, Pope Francis will deliver the first-ever address by a leader of the Holy See to a joint meeting of Congress – and my office will be offering a limited number of tickets to residents of New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District to attend this historic event!
On July 4th, we get a chance to spend quality time with family and friends, and celebrate America's birthday.

On Monday, I took part in a fantastic screening of "The Ghost Army" in Keene, where we learned about the inspiring story of one of the most influential and top-secret units that fought in World War II, and about the courageous Granite Stater who took part in the unit's efforts.

With Congress out of session, I got the opportunity to spend all of last week in the Granite State, where I met with constituents and visited a number of impressive projects and community organizations. I was honored to speak at the NH Veterans Home on Memorial Day, and I was proud to highlight the importance of transportation funding during a tour of the Broad Street Parkway in Nashua.
