Congresswoman Kuster holds North Country Resource Forum

Whitefield, NH – Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) brought together federal, state and local agencies to discuss funding opportunities at a North Country Resource Forum.

During the forum, held at White Mountain Regional High School, Kuster convened local businesses, organizations, non-profit agencies, and leaders in local government who heard about a range of grant and loan opportunities to help fund economic development projects throughout the region. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Economic Development Administration, U.S. Small Business Administration, North Country Council, and the Northern Community Investment Corporation were among nearly a dozen agencies that joined Kuster to discuss available resources.

“I was excited to hear from the business and community leaders who are creating jobs, supporting families, and driving the economic development needed both in the North Country and across the Granite State,” said Congresswoman Kuster. “I will continue working to provide the resources needed to build a stronger 21st century economy that strengthens our state and helps middle class families thrive.”

Kuster is committed to ensuring North Country businesses and communities have access to the tools they need to grow and thrive. She encourages small businesses, non-profits, local governments, and other interested parties to contact her office for additional assistance in securing access to federal programs aimed to support their mission.
