(Concord, NH) – Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement regarding the death of former Attorney General Janet Reno:

“Janet Reno was dedicated to public service; breaking barriers by serving as the first female attorney general in our country’s history. When she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1995, she didn’t slow down. Instead, she continued her service as Attorney General and remained active in political life after leaving office.  My thoughts and prayers are with Janet’s family, friends, and coworkers as they mourn her passing and reflect on her remarkable life.”
