Plymouth, NH – As part of her commitment to helping create jobs and opportunity for middle class families, this morning Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) hosted a jobs fair in Plymouth to connect local residents with employment opportunities throughout the Granite State.

This morning’s fair, which was held at the Flying Monkey in downtown Plymouth, featured employers from the hospitality, tourism, and recreation industries, among others.  Participating employers included Whale’s Tale Waterpark, Polar Caves, The Common Man, Mountain Club on Loon Resort and Spa, Sealite USA, Tender Corporation, and many others.

“Supporting economic growth and creating more opportunity for Granite State families is one of my top priorities in Congress,” said Congresswoman Annie Kuster. “That’s why I’m proud to host a series of job fairs, which gives me a chance to help connect job seekers with employers all across the Granite State. Today’s jobs fair in Plymouth was my sixth since taking office, and it was truly gratifying to see so many local residents taking advantage of the fair and meeting with potential employers. Thank you to everyone who attended!”

Since first taking office, Kuster has prioritized efforts to foster job creation, grow the economy, and improve workforce development. Last year, she unveiled her Middle Class Jobs and Opportunity Agenda, a blueprint based on meetings with Granite State residents, families, business owners and others, that outlines common sense steps to create jobs in New Hampshire and around the country. Kuster has hosted a series of jobs fairs since taking office, which have helped hundreds of job seekers learn about open positions around the state. The Plymouth jobs fair gave residents a chance to learn about new opportunities in the area, and provided attendees with a chance to visit with the Congresswoman.
