Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) announced that she has joined No Labels Problem Solvers, a group of more than 75 Democrats and Republicans in both the House and Senate who are committed to meeting regularly to build trust across the aisle, find common ground, and promote a new politics of problem solving in Washington.

“Granite Staters don’t expect members of Congress to agree on everything, but they do expect us to work together and put solving problems ahead of partisanship,” Kuster said. “From creating good, middle class jobs to making college more affordable, we know that working together is the only way to make progress as a nation. We have to be willing to reach across the aisle to find bipartisan, common sense solutions to the challenges we face.”

“By joining the Problem Solvers, Rep. Ann McLane Kuster is proving her commitment to working across the aisle to do what’s best for the country,” said Governor Jon Huntsman, No Labels Honorary Co-Chair. “This group is truly patriotic -- its members are putting the country first to solve problems.”

“The Problem Solvers group is a big deal,” said Senator Joe Manchin, No Labels Honorary Co-Chair. “They can help break the bad habits that have developed in Washington, where people have developed this attitude that you’re only worth talking to if you’re on my team – the Ds or the Rs. We’ll prove that ultimately, we’re all on the same team.”

The bipartisan group includes several lawmakers from the Northeast, including Angus King (I-ME), Chris Gibson (R-NY), and Peter Welch (D-VT). For more information on No Labels and to see a full list of members, visit www.nolabels.org.
