Concord, NH – This morning, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement condemning the murder of U.S. veteran and aid worker, Peter Kassig:

“My deepest condolences go out to Mr. Kassig’s family in the wake of this horrific crime, committed by one of the most extreme, barbaric terrorist organizations of our time. Mr. Kassig bravely served our nation in the military and traveled to Syria to provide humanitarian relief for victims of war. His kidnapping and murder were acts of pure evil. We must continue to work with international allies in the region to vanquish ISIL once and for all, and put an end to the brutal murders of innocent civilians.”
