Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement on the nomination by President Donald Trump of Judge Neil Gorsuch to serve on the United States Supreme Court:

"I will join all Americans in thoroughly examining Judge Neil Gorsuch's record and judicial philosophy. Any Supreme Court nominee must uphold the rights enshrined in the Constitution as well as the bedrock values we share as Americans. Judge Gorsuch's confirmation could sway the court for a generation, and I have serious concerns about his record on women's rights and his commitment to the many rather than to the few wealthiest Americans and corporate interests. I urge the Senate to thoroughly examine his commitment to our constitutional liberties and his judicial approach to precedent during the confirmation process."
