Kuster Statement on Senate Budget Vote to Begin Repeal of the Affordable Care Act

Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement on last night’s vote in the Senate to advance a Republican budget that paves the way for repeal of the Affordable Care Act (ACA):

“I’m disappointed that my Republican colleagues in Congress continue to pursue efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act rather than focus on ways to make improvements to the law,” said Congresswoman Kuster. “I’m one of the first to admit that the ACA isn’t perfect. Few bills are when first passed, but we can’t allow politics to jeopardize the healthcare of millions of Americans, including one-in-ten Granite Staters. I’ve joined my colleagues across the aisle in support of reforms in the past, and I am eager to work together to build on the law and foster a system that works for all Americans.”
