This morning, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement on the passing of Jane Lang, an executive board member of the NH Alliance for Retired Americans and the founder of the Salem Farmers Market:

“Our thoughts are with Jane Lang's family as they mourn the loss of a truly remarkable leader and devoted community activist. In addition to her selfless commitment to grassroots activism, Jane was the inspiration behind the Salem Farmers Market. Her vision, energy and leadership were essential elements of every community project she touched and our lives are better for all that she accomplished.”
