In Concord, Kuster Helps Distribute Free Masks for “Mask Up, New Hampshire!” Effort
Concord, NH –Today, Representative Annie Kuster (NH-02) helped to distribute free reusable cloth masks to Granite Staters at the Common Man Restaurant as part of the “Mask Up, New Hampshire!” effort organized by Alex Ray, the Common Man Family, and state Rotary Clubs. The masks have been donated by the Common Man Family and are distributed using the Common Man Trolley repurposed as the “MaskMobile.” Today, the Common Man partnered with the Rotary Club of Concord for distribution. This was one of many mask distribution events that will occur in New Hampshire over the next couple of weeks.
“Face masks play a critical role in reducing the transmission of COVID-19, and I’m pleased to join today’s distribution event,” said Kuster. “Giving these masks out free of charge will help ensure that more Granite Staters can do their part to slow the spread of this virus and keep our communities healthy. When you’re out in public places where people are congregating, wearing a mask is a simple yet highly effective way to keep those around you safe. We’re all in this together, and I thank ‘Mask Up, NH!’ and everyone who picked up a mask today for pitching in to help combat the ongoing pandemic.”
“Our number one goal is to help to flatten the curve and make New Hampshire safer, and I’m glad to be able to provide masks to help our communities stay healthy,” said Alex Ray, owner of The Common Man. “Thank you to Congresswoman Kuster for helping us to distribute masks today and to get the word out. I encourage folks to pick up a washable, reusable cloth mask from us. Visit www.MaskUpNH.com for more information.”
Tomorrow, the “MaskMobile” will be at the Common Man Restaurant in Concord from 10 PM – 2 PM to distribute free reusable cloth face masks to Grante Staters. Visit www.MaskUpNH.com for information about mask distribution events in the coming weeks.
