Hillsborough, NH – Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) helped to celebrate the launch of the innovative, energy-efficient LED headlamp system developed by OSRAM Sylvania for the new Ford F150 truck. To mark the occasion, Kuster addressed a crowd of hundreds of OSRAM employees, company officers, and local and state officials at the event, which also incorporated Employee Appreciation Day to thank and recognize the workers at the Hillsborough facility.
“I have made it my number one priority in Congress to help support job creation and opportunity for New Hampshire families,” said Congresswoman Annie Kuster. “Manufacturers like OSRAM Sylvania expand the manufacturing base and create good jobs for New Hampshire workers, helping to boost the Granite State economy. I was delighted to help celebrate this new project and express my appreciation for OSRAM Sylvania’s dedicated workforce, and I will continue to advocate for New Hampshire’s growing manufacturing industry. ”
As a member of the House Small Business Committee, Kuster has focused on efforts to foster job creation and support New Hampshire’s manufacturing industry. Last week, Kuster cosponsored legislation to help small manufacturers purchase new equipment, expand facilities, and improve workforce development programs. She has also supported a series of “Make It In America” proposals focused on restoring jobs and reviving the U.S. manufacturing economy, and has fought to establish a Manufacturing Innovation Institute in New Hampshire.
