LITTLETON, N.H. (AP) — The town of Littleton, N.H., is getting a $280,000 federal grant for a new fire tanker truck.

The grant was awarded late last week and was announced by Rep. Annie Kuster's office.

The Caledonian-Record reports (https://bit.ly/12s9iCo) the grant package was given the go-ahead by the town in 2012.

The grant is administered through the Federal Emergency Management Agency and is among the first round of grants awarded through the agency's Assistance to Firefighters Grant.
