Lawrence Eagle-Tribune: Kusters plans town hall for seniors
At 11 a.m. tomorrow, Congresswoman Annie Kuster, D-NH-02, will host a telephone town hall focused on issues and programs that are important to Granite State seniors.
Kuster will hear stories from New Hampshire seniors who rely on Medicare and Social Security, answer questions about these programs, and encourage constituents to contact her office for help resolving problems with benefits, enrollment, or other issues. The town hall comes during the week of Medicare’s 48th anniversary. Kuster will be joined on the call by policy experts from AARP.
“As we mark the 48th anniversary of Medicare, I want to hear directly from seniors and middle class families across New Hampshire about what we can do to protect and strengthen the programs our seniors count on,” Kuster said. “I also want to ensure that Granite State families know that my office is here to help resolve problems with their benefits or other issues they’re facing.”
Constituents will receive an automated phone call inviting them to stay on the line to join the telephone town hall. Constituents can also register for the telephone town hall at kuster.house.gov/contact/tele-townhall-zip-authentication.
