Congresswoman Annie Kuster Applauds KC-46A Announcement

CONCORD, NH – Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) applauded the announcement by the Air Force that Pease Air National Guard Base will serve as the first Air National Guard-led KC-46A Pegasus main operating base.

“This decision reinforces what we already knew—that the 157th Air Refueling Wing has an outstanding record of service,” said Kuster. “This decision will enhance our nation’s military readiness and boost our economy.  Our entire state should be proud.”

Kuster has worked with the full New Hampshire congressional delegation to advocate for Pease and the 15th Air Refueling Wing to receive the KC-46A. Over the past year and a half, Kuster has joined Air Force and Pentagon leadership in touring Pease and meeting with New Hampshire service members. In 2013, Kuster joined the full delegation is sending letters to the Air Force Chief of Staff and Director of the Air National Guard, expressing continued support for Pease and the 157th Air Refueling Wing.
