This afternoon, Congresswoman Annie Kuster released the following statement applauding the White House’s recently released report aimed at curbing sexual assault on college campuses:

“Far too many instances of sexual assault on campus go unreported or are inadequately addressed by campus officials. I applaud the White House for calling on school administrators to be more proactive in addressing instances of sexual assault, and for stressing the importance of increased supportive services for victims. This is not an issue that can be swept under the rug, and I’m proud of New Hampshire colleges like UNH and Dartmouth for taking steps to address these issues. I urge all college officials to carefully review their own policies moving forward to ensure that adequate prevention and response programs are in place.”
