This afternoon, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02), a member of the House Veterans Affairs’ Committee, released the following statement regarding the appointment of Danielle S. Ocker as the new director of the Manchester VA Medical Center. Ocker assumes the position after serving as the acting director of the Medical center for the past seven months.

“I applaud the Department of Veterans Affairs decision to appoint Danielle Ocker as the Manchester VA Medical Center’s newest Director. Danielle has distinguished herself as a leader within the VA throughout her 30 years of service within the organization, and I am confident that she will continue to lead the Medical Center well in this new role. With a background in both clinical and administrative leadership, Danielle understands the compassion and dedication that this position demands. I know that Danielle will continue to serve Granite State veterans well in this new capacity at the helm of the Medical Center.”
