Kuster Hosts Federal Funding Workshop in Keene

Keene, NH – Yesterday, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) held a federal funding workshop at the Hannah Grimes Center to introduce Keene area organizations, communities and businesses to federal, state and local funding opportunities to support economic development throughout the region. Joining the discussion were the Northern Border Regional Commission, U.S. Department of Economic & Rural Development, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Housing & Urban Development, Community Development Finance Authority, the New Hampshire Department of Business & Economic Affairs, and the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center, among others. Kuster held a similar discussion in August in Claremont.

“The community members who joined our discussion are doing important work to create jobs, support New Hampshire families, and invest in our economy, but as they know very well, they can’t do this work alone,” said Rep. Kuster. “Granite Staters need support to grow their businesses and expand their services, which is why agencies like those who joined us are so critical. I thank these agencies for taking time to discuss the many resources they offer, and I will continue working to ensure New Hampshire organizations, businesses and communities have the support they need to thrive.”
