CONCORD, N.H. -- Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement after the apprehension of the second Boston Marathon bombing suspect by law enforcement officials.

"I want to express my sincerest gratitude to the courageous first responders, emergency personnel, and law enforcement officials from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and elsewhere who put themselves in harm's way this week to keep us safe. Officials from every level of government worked together with tremendous skill and selflessness to apprehend the suspect in Monday's cowardly attacks at the Boston Marathon. As we recognize their heroic work, we also continue to keep all of the victims of these attacks and their families in our thoughts and prayers."
