Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) issued the following statement in response to news that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) inappropriately targeted certain organizations due to their political affiliations. “It is completely inappropriate and inexcusable for the IRS or any government agency to target Americans or organizations for their political beliefs. We need to find out exactly what happened so that we can hold those responsible fully accountable for their actions and ensure an incident like this never happens again.
