Jul 13, 2017
Press Release

(Washington, DC) – Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02), a member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, released the following statement on the introduction of the Harry W. Colmery Veterans Educational Assistance Act, of which Kuster is co-sponsor:

“The men and women who serve our nation in uniform deserve our full support during and after deployment,” said Congresswoman Kuster. “That includes supporting educational opportunities once our servicemembers return home. The legislation we introduced today strengthens the GI Bill to improve educational benefits and skills training opportunities for our brave veterans, which will help grow our economy and enrich the lives of veterans and their families. I look forward to continuing to work in a bipartisan manner as a member on the VA Committee to shepherd through this legislation.”
