"Today I voted to re-open the government. I will take Republican leadership at their word that they will work with us in good faith for long-term funding for our military and essential services. I will continue to fight for emergency opioid funding, community health centers, veterans, seniors, and to protect young Dreamers. Speaker Ryan, please take a page from the Patriots’ playbook and ‘do your job.’ It’s time to stop kicking the can down the road on a long-term budget. Let's come together for the American people."
