Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement on “catastrophic mechanical pipe failure” at Manchester VA Medical Center:

“I’m closely monitoring this morning’s pipe failure at the Manchester VA Medical Center and my office has been in touch with VA officials regarding this matter. It’s estimated that as many as 250 veterans have had their care affected and I urge the VA to address this issue in a way that minimizes further impact to veterans and staff. As a member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs I take the safety and care of our veterans with the utmost seriousness and will continue to closely monitor this situation.”
