Washington, D.C. –Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) applauded President Obama for today signing an executive order to raise the minimum wage for federal contract workers. The order, which will go into effect beginning on January 1, 2015, will raise the minimum raise for federal contractors to $10.10 an hour.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Annie Kuster today criticized Senate Republicans for blocking a vote yesterday on the extension of emergency unemployment insurance benefits, which would provide a vital lifeline to the more than 1,600 Granite Staters who were cut off from receiving benefits when the program expired in late December of last year.
