Kuster Holds Town Hall in Peterborough

Peterborough, NH – Last evening, Rep. Annie Kuster (NH-02), a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, held a town hall meeting at the Peterborough Town Library to discuss her work in Congress and listen to the concerns of area residents. Rep. Kuster took questions from community members about important issues including health care, climate change, and the opioid epidemic.

“Hearing from Granite Staters about the issues that make a real difference in their lives is critical to my work in Congress,” said Kuster. “Last night, attendees in Peterborough spoke passionately about the need to combat climate change, address the opioid epidemic, and create a future where all New Hampshire families are able to thrive and succeed. I’m proud that in the U.S. House of Representatives, we’ve passed bills to reduce carbon pollution, lower the costs of prescription drugs, and advance resources to address substance use disorder. I look forward to sharing the perspectives I heard last night with my colleagues in Washington and continuing to fight for hard working New Hampshire families.
