(Tilton, NH) – Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster delivered student-made holiday cards to residents of the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton as part of her fifth annual Holiday Cards for Heroes program.

“Granite State veterans have given so much to all of us and I can think of no better way to celebrate the holiday season than to thank them for their service,” said Congresswoman Kuster. “I know how much thought and care students put into making these heartwarming holiday cards, and it was wonderful to deliver them to the brave men and women of the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton.”

Last week, Congresswoman Kuster visited with students at Salem North Elementary School to discuss creating cards and the importance of honoring veterans for the sacrifices they have made. Schools in Mont Vernon, Salem, Concord, Groveton and Littleton also created cards for this year’s program.
