Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) today released the following statement in commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) yesterday released the following statement in commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

“Today, we join together as one nation to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Nearly forty-five years have now passed since he was taken from us, but Dr. King’s memory and legacy live on – in the work we do, in the hopes we hold, and in the brighter future we all seek to build. As we reflect on the leader he was and the life he led, we do so knowing that there’s no better way to honor his memory than by carrying forward the causes of justice and equality he so nobly advanced. On this day, let us draw inspiration from his life’s work and rededicate ourselves to building a country that is worthy of his memory.”
