Concord, N.H.
— Today, Rep. Annie Kuster (NH-02) announced the start of the 2021 Congressional Art Competition in New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District.

Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives. The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation, as well as in our congressional district.

Rep. Annie Kuster invites current high school students within New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District to participate in this year’s competition. The overall winner of the district's competition will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol as well as the House Congressional Art Competition webpage. The exhibit in Washington will also include artwork from other contest winners nation-wide.

For safety reasons because of the COVID-19 pandemic, art submissions for the 2021 contest for New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District must be made virtually.

The deadline for submitting work to be considered for the 2021 Competition is Friday, April 23, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
