As U.S. Surpasses 100 Million Adults Fully Vaccinated, Kuster Applauds Bolstered Vaccination Rollout
Washington, April 30, 2021
Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement after President Biden announced that more than 100 million American adults have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19:
“This is an incredible milestone in our nation’s efforts to end this pandemic, get students back into classrooms, fully reopen our economy, and rebuild from this crisis. After months of uncertainty and hardship, we finally have the tools we need and the leadership in the White House to crush this virus — and I’m proud that New Hampshire is leading the nation in getting shots into arms. Safe, effective COVID-19 vaccines offer a light at the end of the tunnel, and I encourage every American in the Granite State and across the U.S. to get their vaccine as soon as they can in order to protect themselves, their loved ones, and our communities.
“As we continue working to get shots into arms across the country, we are also looking ahead to ensure no one is left behind in our recovery. We have the opportunity to build a stronger, more resilient economy for all Americans. That started with the American Rescue Plan, which expands the Child Tax Credit, bolsters access to child care, combats childhood poverty, and supports families out of work due to COVID-19. I look forward to working with the Biden-Harris administration to make great strides for our country through bold, strategic action supporting hardworking families and building a more successful and equitable future for all.”
