Concord, N.H. — Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) hosted a virtual discussion to hear from New Hampshire residents who have received assistance from her office to highlight the resources and support that are available to residents in New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District. During the conversation, Rep. Kuster spoke with Bick from New London, Bill from Amherst, Pam from Hopkinton, and Bill from Walpole about issues regarding passports, delayed tax returns, and federal security screenings.

“Assisting Granite Staters throughout the Second Congressional District with federal agencies and bureaucratic challenges is one of my top priorities, and I’m proud of the work my office is doing to help folks navigate complicated issues,” said Rep. Kuster. “I appreciated the opportunity to hear firsthand the positive impact my team has had on New Hampshire families – from helping folks receive their tax refunds, to securing passports when there are disruptive delays. Constituents in need of assistance should not hesitate to reach out to our team for support – we are here to help.”

“We cannot thank Congresswoman Kuster and her staff enough for all of their support as our family worked to get back home to New Hampshire from Shanghai, China with our newborn son,” said Bick, a resident of New London.

“I should say that I’m a registered Republican and whether your 2nd district politics lean Red, Blue or Forward, you can count on Rep. Kuster and her staff to get you results when the bureaucracy gets between you and the federal government,” said Bill, a resident of Amherst.

“I wish more people knew that the office of Congresswoman Kuster can be very helpful in so many unexpected ways,” said Pam, a resident of Hopkinton. “I am very grateful for the assistance of Congresswoman Kuster's office in helping me navigate communication problems at Fort Benning, as I struggled to arrange a base pass to see my son graduate as an Infantryman. My experience helped the Fort Benning staff identify some unknown website and phone line problems. I'm sure future family visitors will have an easier time contacting the very helpful staff at Fort Benning in the future. Thank you to Congresswoman Kuster and her responsive staff!”

“It took 5 1/2 months to process and receive my 2021 1040 IRS tax refund,” said Bill, a resident of Walpole. “To accomplish this result took the involvement of Congresswoman Anne Kuster's Office, her Constituent Services Director and the Tax Advocate Office to move the IRS system that traditionally takes six weeks for a paper filing.”
