Kuster Honors Fallen Police Officers

**Kuster joined a bipartisan coalition of Members to honor our nation’s fallen police officers**

Washington, D.C. — Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) voted to honor the 556 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty and whose stories were recovered in 2022. The legislation also expresses support for National Police Week, which occurs in May of every year.

“Our law enforcement officers put themselves in harm’s way each and every day to keep our communities safe, and we owe them an incredible debt of gratitude for their dedication and sacrifice,” said Kuster. “Today, we honor the law enforcement officers and their families who died in the line of duty and commemorate their unwavering heroism and bravery. They will never be forgotten.”

Kuster is a strong advocate for New Hampshire's law enforcement and first responders. Earlier this year, Kuster hosted a roundtable to connect New Hampshire law enforcement officials and departments with funding opportunities through the Justice Department.
