This week, 16 and 17-year-olds became eligible for COVID-19 booster shots. As the Omicron variant continues to spread, it’s important to get vaccinated for COVID-19 and receive your booster shot when it’s time to do so. For more information, visit the CDC’s website here.
New Hampshire is moving in the wrong direction when it comes to COVID-19 — more patients are hospitalized now than at any other point in the pandemic. Everyone aged 5 and older is eligible to get the vaccine. As the Omicron variant continues to spread and the weather gets colder, it’s more important than ever to get vaccinated.

As we head into the holidays, it can be difficult to have conversations about comfort and COVID-19 safety precautions with family or loved ones. Regardless of how you gather, I encourage you to plan ahead to keep your gathering safe. Learn more about what to ask and how to prepare: https://wapo.st/3GyEBqw.
As always, the CDC and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services are the best resources to turn to for information about COVID-19. If you are sick, stay home and call your health care provider.
