For too many years, the cost of health care and prescription drugs has been too high for far too many Granite Staters.
This week, I was thrilled to welcome President Biden back to New Hampshire to discuss how the Inflation Reduction Act is continuing to deliver for New Hampshire. Thanks to this landmark legislation, Democrats capped the cost of insulin for Medicare beneficiaries at $35 a month, finally empowered Medicare to negotiate directly with pharmaceutical companies to lower the price of life-saving prescription drugs, and capped out-of-pocket costs for seniors on Medicare at $2,000 a month starting in 2025.
