House Committee on Energy and Commerce
The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need to improve access to affordable, quality health care, strengthen our health care infrastructure, and expand access to broadband internet. I’m honored to continue serving on the Energy and Commerce Committee in the 117th Congress, where I have the opportunity to lead the charge on developing forward-thinking legislative solutions to the problems facing our nation and addressing the critical issues that are most important to New Hampshire communities.
I am committed to improving our health care system, ensuring the equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, expanding access to broadband internet, combating climate change, and protecting our planet.
House Agriculture Committee
Our Granite State farmers and producers have shown incredible strength and resilience throughout this crisis, and I’m proud to return to the House Agriculture Committee to bring their voices, concerns, and experience to Congress. On this Committee, I will tirelessly advocate for the priorities of New Hampshire’s farmers and consumers in the agriculture industry, which contributes nearly one billion dollars to our state’s economy every year.
The COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated the need to strengthen our agriculture supply chains, both to ensure the success of small farms as well as support families struggling with hunger. Congress must also do more to assist farmers and producers as they combat climate change and make their operations more sustainable. I’m grateful for this opportunity to expand access to healthy food for all Granite Staters, support sustainable forestry, and advance policies that benefit our New Hampshire farms and farmers while creating a brighter, more equitable future for all.
