Continuing a tradition the First Family began four years ago, Inauguration weekend will begin with a National Day of Service on January 19th that honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  On Saturday, people in New Hampshire and all across the country will have a chance to answer the call to service and participate in volunteer projects in their communities.

“There is no better way to honor the life of Dr. King than to serve our communities,” said Kuster. “I encourage constituents in the Second District to find a service event in their community this weekend, and to share in the work of advancing Dr. King’s dream of opportunity for all.”

Granite Staters interested in volunteering should visit www.2013pic.org/service and enter their zip code to find a service event in their community.
