Kuster Statement on Senator Martha Fuller Clark's Retirement

Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement on the retirement of New Hampshire State Senator Martha Fuller Clark:

“Senator Martha Fuller Clark has been a shining star in New Hampshire politics for decades. Her commitment to New Hampshire and her constituents is unparalleled and a shining example of what makes a true public servant. Martha was a dear friend of my mother, Susan McLane, and has been a steadfast friend and mentor to me and countless others across the Granite State.

“Throughout her career, Martha has fought for the values and policies that are important to New Hampshire families: protecting our environment, expanding access to affordable health care, defending women’s rights, and building an economy that works for everyone. She has made countless contributions to New Hampshire that will last well beyond her time as a state legislator. Words cannot express my gratitude to Martha for her leadership and tireless work for our state. I know that she will continue to make our state a better place to live and raise a family and to be a powerful voice in New Hampshire.”
