Catching Up with Annie
Meeting with Constituents around New Hampshire
Washington, D.C.,
August 26, 2014
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Over the last two weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to tour the 2nd District and meet with constituents around the state. I held an open Seniors Forum in Peterborough to hear from local seniors about the importance of standing up for Social Security and Medicare. I also had the opportunity to visit the Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield to meet patients and staff. Last Thursday, I held a roundtable discussion with students and education officials to talk about ways to make college more affordable for middle class families. Hearing from Seniors in Peterborough I was so happy to spend time with all the seniors who came out to my open Seniors Forum in Peterborough to discuss how Congress can best protect Medicare and Social Security. It was great hearing from folks about the issues that matter most to Granite State seniors, and I look forward to sharing their stories with my colleagues back in Washington, so together we can demonstrate the need to stand up and protect Medicare and Social Security. I remain committed to always fighting to protect these programs that so many of our Granite State seniors rely on. Visiting Crotched Mountain Rehab in Greenfield Meeting with Students in Plymouth Have a terrific week and thanks for everything you do to make New Hampshire such a great place to live! |
