Join me for my biggest fair yet

Hi Everyone!

Next week, I am hosting a jobs and opportunity fair in Nashua to help connect local residents with jobs and employment and educational opportunities throughout the Granite State. My recent job fair in Lebanon connected over 80 job seekers with employers and skill training programs from across the state, and I’m excited to bring my latest fair to the Southern Tier.

Thanks to an incredible outpouring of interest, the Nashua jobs and opportunity fair will span two days. Held at the Adult Learning Center at 4 Lake Street in Nashua, the fair will run Thursday, May 5th from 6:30PM to 8:00PM and Friday, May 6th from 10:30AM to 1:00PM. It will feature employers from a variety of industries, including health care, retail, and hospitality, as well as representatives from training and education programs, among others.

As the Representative for the Second Congressional District, I am committed to helping our local businesses grow and create jobs, and to helping New Hampshire workers gain the skills they need to obtain these jobs through workforce development and skill training programs. This jobs and opportunity fair, the eighth I have held, will bring together employers, job seekers, and educators. I hope that you can join me! Job seekers wishing to attend the Jobs and Opportunity Fair can register here

Need assistance with a federal agency?

One of the greatest honors I have as a Representative is helping my constituents when they are experiencing trouble with a federal agency. Recently, I was contacted by a constituent named Sgt. Jessica Rider from Penacook who was having a problem with the U.S. Department of the Army. Sgt. Rider needed to store her personal household goods while living in Army barracks but was having trouble finding an affordable option.  My staff contacted the U.S. Department of the Army, and worked with the Army Sustainment Command and the Joint Personal Property Shipping Office to rectify the situation and find her the storage she needed.

If my office may ever be of assistance with a problem you are facing with a federal agency, please contact my staff at 603-226-1002 so we may help you resolve your problem or get you the information you need.

Thanks for everything you do to make New Hampshire such a wonderful place to live.
