U.S. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, D-NH, will be joined by Greta Johansson, the SBA District Director for New Hampshire; Rhett Jeppson, SBA Associate Administrator for Veterans Business Development; Tameka Montgomery, SBA Associate Administrator for Entrepreneurial Development; and Seth Goodall, Regional Administrator for The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Region 1 (New England), for an informal networking session to learn firsthand about the experiences of veteran business owners and to discuss the programs and services are available to support veteran business ownership.

The event will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the Nashua Community College Wellness Center, 505 Amherst St. in Nashua.

The event is free and open to the public.

The guests have a wide range of backgrounds in both public service and business administration, according to a press statement.

Jeepson is a Marine Corps veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm and also served at the Special Operations Command Central. In the late 1990s, he took a position with the state of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation, first as the Deputy Director of Pari-Mutuel Wagering and then as the Special Assistant to the Secretary. After the Sept. 11, attacks, he served with the U.S. Special Operations Command in Tampa, with subsequent assignments with the U.S. Forces Afghanistan, and the U.S. European Command.

Montgomery was the executive director of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, an affiliate of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce that is focused on preparing and connecting leaders from the business and civic communities to strengthen Colorado’s future. She initially began her federal service as a Presidential Management Fellow with the U.S. Department of Justice and was also a Peace Corps Volunteer, serving two years in West Africa.

Goodall is an attorney and has served as state Senator in Maine, representing Sagadahoc County and the town of Dresden in Lincoln County. In the 1990s, he started and grew a multi-million dollar landscaping company. He also launched Starting Out, a Maine start-up company, focused on career and workforce educational resources.
