Concord, N.H. — Today, Rep. Annie Kuster (NH-02), a national voice in the effort to safely reopen the U.S.-Canada border, applauded the Biden-Harris administration’s announcement that the U.S. will allow fully vaccinated travelers into the United States across the land border with Canada starting in early November.

“I’m pleased the Biden-Harris administration has taken this long-overdue step to safely reopen the U.S. border to fully vaccinated travelers,” said Rep. Annie Kuster. “For months I have called to get this plan put into effect, and I look forward to the positive impact this decision will have on New Hampshire’s tourism economy and families with loved ones on the other side of the northern border.”

Rep. Kuster has led national calls to safely reopen the U.S.-Canada border since June to bolster the New England economy and foster growth. Last month, Rep. Kuster, alongside Rep. Pappas, sent a letter to President Joe Biden urging the safe and responsible reopening of the land border between the United States and Canada to vaccinated, non-essential Canadian travelers.
