Kuster Delivers Funding for Community Projects Across New Hampshire’s Second District

Washington, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) helped pass the government spending package for Fiscal Year 2023. The package included funding for community projects which Kuster secured across New Hampshire’s Second District.

 

“Our communities and our state are made stronger when we invest in the people and the places we call home,” said Kuster. “I was proud to advocate for these community projects and am thrilled to see them be funded through this spending package. From expanding access to affordable housing to ensuring our emergency services are modernized and ready to respond, these projects will bring positive change to our state and will make a real difference for families across New Hampshire.”

 

The government funding package included funding Kuster secured for 12 community projects across New Hampshire’s Second District:

  1. $250,000 for Eastern Avenue Apartments Affordable Housing Renovation 
  2. $825,000 for Franklin Pierce University, Rindge, rural health education, training
  3. $450,000 for HealthFirst Family Center, Franklin, for facilities and equipment 
  4. $750,000 for Mid-State Health Center, Plymouth, for facilities and equipment 
  5. $3,000,000 for Nashua Public Library Plaza 
  6. $2,000,000 for New England College, Henniker, facilities and equipment 
  7. $767,000 for NH Technical Institute, Concord, dental training program modernization 
  8. $419,250 for Profile Safe Routes to School Project 
  9. $1,203,200 for Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail Exit 9 Project
  10. $220,000 for Town of Gorham for a Water and Sewage Infrastructure Project 
  11. $1,058,791 for Walpole Fire and EMS Emergency Operations Center Project 
  12. $2,329,000 for West Lebanon Main Street Sidewalk Intersection Construction Project
