Kuster Announces 2024 Congressional Art Competition

Concord, N.H. —Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) announced the 2024 Congressional Art Competition for New Hampshire's Second Congressional District. Each spring, Members of the U.S. House of Representatives, in collaboration with the Congressional Institute, host this nationwide high school art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent.

“The Congressional Art Competition is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring young artists to showcase their talents and creative expression,” said Kuster. “As a long-time supporter of funding for the arts and arts education, I look forward to seeing the incredible submissions by talented young artists across the Second Congressional District.”

Congresswoman Kuster welcomes participation from high school students who reside in New Hampshire's Second Congressional District. The winning artwork, selected by an independent panel of judges, will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol as part of an exhibit with winners from around the country. The winner will also be featured on the House Congressional Art Competition webpage.

The deadline for submitting work for consideration for the 2024 Competition is Friday, April 12th, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
