Kuster Secures Funding for 15 Projects in New Hampshire’s Second District

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) announced that she secured funding for 15 projects in New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District in the FY24 government funding agreement, totaling over $16.8 million. The House voted to pass this legislation earlier today to deliver this funding, which will benefit communities across the Granite State.

 

“I’m thrilled to deliver this critical funding for community projects across New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District,” said Kuster. “From support for local police and fire departments to investments in affordable housing and expanding child care facilities, these resources will go a long way for Granite State families. I look forward to these projects' positive impact on New Hampshire!”

 

Kuster secured more than $16.8 million in funding for NH-02 through the FY24 funding agreement, including funding for 15 community projects:

 

  • $1,000,000 for the Lincoln Police and Emergency Operations Center Construction, Lincoln, NH
  • $1,000,000 for the Northumberland Public Safety Building, Northumberland, NH 
  • $1,000,000 for the Walpole Fire and EMS Emergency Operations Center Project, Walpole, NH 
  • $1,000,000 for the White Mountain Community College Nursing and Science Lab Enhancements, Walpole, NH 
  • $1,000,000 for the Whitefield Public Library Renovation and Expansion, Whitefield, NH
  • $1,300,000 for the Enhanced Communication and Public Safety Assurance Project, Claremont, NH 
  • $414,000 for the Salem Police Department Records Management System, Salem, NH 
  • $3,000,000 for the Town of Lancaster for Summer Street Infrastructure Upgrade Completion, Lancaster, NH
  • $2,000,000 for the Homeless Resource Center Hub, Concord, NH 
  • $1,616,279 for the Lebanon Childcare Facility, Lebanon, NH
  • $200,000 for the MainStreet Warner Building Renovations, Improvements, and Kitchen, Warner, NH
  • $500,000 for the Nashua Riverfront Pedestrian Bridge, Nashua, NH
