It may not feel like it after this week’s nor’easter, but spring is right around the corner. If you live in New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District and enjoy photography, this is the perfect opportunity to show off your skills!

New Hampshire is home to the world's most beautiful landscapes and scenery—we’re so lucky to live in a state surrounded by so much natural beauty. From now through Friday, May 3rd at 11:59 PM, my office is accepting submissions of spring images and scenery in the Second Congressional District.

Solar Eclipse: On Monday, April 8th, a total solar eclipse will be visible in parts of New Hampshire. The partial eclipse is expected to begin around 2:15 PM, peak at 3:30 PM, and end a little after 4:30 PM. Don’t miss out—the next time New Hampshire will be in the direct path of an eclipse won’t be until 2079!

Several communities in northern New Hampshire are located in the path of totality, where the moon will completely eclipse the sun. In other parts of New Hampshire, the moon will cover around 95% of the sun.
