This week, Congress and the American people heard from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the situation in Ukraine as Russia continues its brutal assault. During this historic address, President Zelenskyy shared alarming images of the human suffering and loss caused by this invasion.

I was very moved by President Zelenskyy’s address and will continue working to support the people of Ukraine as they fight to protect their country.

I am continuing to work with my colleagues and our intelligence community to coordinate our next steps. America stands with the people of Ukraine.

The Increasing Transparency in Generic Drug Applications Act would allow the FDA to provide feedback on proposed drug formulations to generic drug applicants and increase the availability of more affordable medications.

Medication is only as good as it is affordable.

I hear consistently from Granite Staters about how their prescriptions are simply too expensive. That’s why I introduced the Increasing Transparency in Generic Drug Applications Act, legislation to bring lower-cost drugs to market faster and help Americans afford the medications that they need. 

I look forward to getting this done for patients in the Granite State and across the country.

Bolstering New Hampshire’s housing market is critical to our state’s continued economic success.

I was pleased to join the New Hampshire Board of Realtors on Monday to discuss ongoing efforts to expand access to affordable housing across the Granite State.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have backed legislation to support the American dream of homeownership and help make mortgages affordable for all New Hampshire families. I look forward to sharing the stories and input from Monday's conversation with my colleagues in Washington.

A phone can be a lifeline for survivors of sexual assault as they get back on their feet — but, not if it is controlled by their abuser.

On Thursday, I introduced the Safe Connections Act with Congresswoman Anna Eshoo to help survivors gain independence and navigate getting and sustaining their own phone lines while they recover.

I’m proud to introduce this legislation, which provides a clear template for survivors to work with their phone carriers to exit from a shared plan and, where applicable, enroll in the Lifeline Program to help cover phone expenses as they get their finances in order.

This visit was an opportunity to reflect on the progress our country has made towards gender equality and recommit ourselves to the work that’s still to come.

I was honored to join my colleagues from across the country at the White House on Tuesday — Equal Pay Day — as a way to celebrate Women’s History Month.

Equal Pay Day marks how far into the new year the average woman must work to match what the average man made the year before. In 2022, the day comes earlier than ever before. While this progress is hopeful, our work is far from over to ensure that equal work earns equal pay.
