Kuster Helps Unveil “Make It In America” Initiatives To Strengthen U.S. Manufacturing
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Reinforcing her commitment to boosting manufacturing in New Hampshire and across the country, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) today joined colleagues at a press conference at the U.S. Capitol to help unveil a series of “Make It In America” proposals focused on training a 21st century workforce, encouraging innovation and insourcing, and reviving U.S. manufacturing.
Kuster has made high-tech manufacturing one of her top priorities in Congress. Last month, Kuster urged President Obama to establish a Manufacturing Innovation Institute in New Hampshire that would help drive innovation, create jobs, and ensure that the next generation of innovative manufacturing breakthroughs happens in states like New Hampshire.
During her first month in office, Kuster also launched her ongoing “Congress at Your Company” series, which features visits with business leaders and manufacturers throughout the district to discuss ways the federal government can better support job creation and economic growth in the Granite State
