Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement on a new rule announced by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt to end the Clean Power Plan:

“This move by the Trump Administration to dismantle the Clean Power Plan is an attack on our environment and the health and wellbeing of people in New Hampshire and across the country. I’m disappointed that President Trump and Administrator Pruitt are putting a small group of special interests ahead of Granite Staters who want healthy, clean air and to mitigate the worst impacts of climate change. The Administration is pandering to a segment of the energy sector that is in decline, not because of the Clean Power Plan but because of the market forces moving toward cleaner and renewable energy alternatives.”
