I hope you are having a safe and wonderful weekend! I had a busy week traveling around New Hampshire meeting with local officials, business owners, and constituents to listen and discuss the issues that matter most to Granite Staters, and I want to update you on what’s been happening.

Claremont’s riverfront helps spur economic growth and social connection while improving public health.

I’ve always said that when we invest in our local communities, our entire state feels the benefits. It was great visiting Claremont’s Sugar River Revitalization and Brownfields Redevelopment Project this week to learn about the positive impact the project will have on the community and local economy.

These critical investments I helped secure to improve the city’s public infrastructure and safety will ensure Claremont is well-positioned to thrive in the years to come, and I cannot wait to see the positive impacts these projects will have on the community.

I had a great discussion with the Mentis team about their success in providing New Hampshire workers with the skills they need to succeed.

This week, I had the opportunity to tour Mentis Sciences in Warner to see their operations up close and learn about the company's critical role in protecting our national security.

Beyond developing cutting-edge technologies, Mentis’ innovative business has created dozens of good-paying, in-demand jobs that help grow and support New Hampshire communities. It was great to discuss how they’re equipping the next generation of STEM professionals with the tools and experience they need to succeed in the 21st-century economy!

Thank you to the National Park Service, staff, and volunteers for their work to protect this incredible resource.

Also this week, I had the opportunity to visit Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park in Cornish. The Saint-Gaudens site is home to a rich array of art and culture and is vital to our state’s tourism and recreation-based economy.

I was proud to champion efforts to designate this location as a National Historical Park and encourage more Granite Staters and tourists to visit the Saint-Gaudens site to learn about Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ extraordinary impact on America’s artistic heritage.

Conserving Our Environment

Mitigating the climate crisis calls for an all-hands-on-deck approach.

Emission reduction alone can’t prevent the worst impacts of climate change—preventing global temperatures from rising above 1.5°C calls for substantial investments in carbon dioxide removal technologies.

This week, I was proud to introduce this legislation to ensure the United States leads the charge in curbing the threats posed by climate change. I look forward to working with my colleagues to get this bill over the finish line and help preserve our planet for future generations.

Supporting Gold Star Families

I will always fight for our service members and their families.

The families and spouses of our service members who made the ultimate sacrifice deserve more than our thanks—they deserve support and action. We have a responsibility to ensure Gold Star spouses and their children can access the resources and opportunities they need to heal and succeed.

This week, I was proud to help introduce bipartisan legislation to increase access to job counseling services for Gold Star spouses.

Making Broadband More Affordable

In the 21st century, access to reliable, affordable internet isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.

From connecting job seekers to employers and helping rural communities access telehealth services and educational opportunities, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) has been a game changer for millions of Americans by making broadband more reliable and affordable.

I was proud to help introduce bipartisan legislation to reauthorize the Affordable Connectivity Program, close the digital divide, and ensure Granite State communities and Americans across the country can remain online and connected.
