Kuster Highlights Workforce Development Initiatives at Mentis Sciences

Warner, N.H. — Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) visited Mentis Sciences’ manufacturing facility in Warner to learn about their operations and discuss the organization’s workforce training initiatives with senior leadership. Mentis Sciences designs and produces critical components for high-tech defense infrastructure.

“It was incredible to see Mentis Sciences’ operations up close and in person to better understand the critical role the company plays in protecting our national security,” said Kuster. “Beyond developing cutting-edge technologies, Mentis’ innovative business has created dozens of good-paying, in-demand jobs that help grow and support New Hampshire’s middle class. Mentis’ partnership with the New Hampshire Advanced Manufacturing Program is setting up the next generation of STEM professionals with the tools and experience they need to succeed in the 21st-century economy.”

“Representative Kuster is a longtime leader on economic and workforce development issues, and we appreciated the opportunity to showcase the Mentis team and our new facilities, and benefit from Representative Kuster’s unique insights on ways to optimize our STEM and workforce development programs in the 2nd District—it was a great visit,” said Mentis Sciences’ President John Dignam.

In addition to its state-of-the-art manufacturing operations, Mentis Sciences provides work-based learning opportunities and career training for students through the New Hampshire Advanced Manufacturing Program (NH AMP). Kuster is a fierce advocate for skills-based training initiatives and workforce development programs. During her visit, she highlighted the role programs like NH AMP play in helping students gain valuable work experience while learning skills to prepare them for in-demand engineering jobs.
