Kuster Statement on Proposal to Repeal Net Neutrality Regulations

**Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai has outlined plans to repeal Obama-era rules to maintain Net Neutrality**

(Concord, NH) – Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) released the following statement on the announcement by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai on plans to repeal Obama-era regulations that maintain net neutrality:

“Internet service providers should not be able to pick winners and losers on the internet,” said Congresswoman Kuster. “Net Neutrality is fundamental to maintaining a level playing field on the web for small businesses and consumers, which is critical to the 21st Century economy. I’m disappointed by the proposal announced by Chairman Pai that will undermine the ability of people from all economic backgrounds to access equal speed and service on the internet.”

Kuster voted in favor of protecting Net Neutrality in 2015.
