ICYMI: Kuster Recognized as New Englander of the Year by New England Council

Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) has been nominated as a “New Englander of the Year” by the New England Council for her collaboration with the organization over her six terms in Congress to bring New England voices and values to Washington. The Council presents the New Englander of the Year Awards each fall at its Annual Celebration in Boston, an event that has drawn over 1,700 guests from throughout the region in recent years.

“Over the last twelve years, I have been incredibly proud to work alongside the New England Council to bring Granite State voices and New England values to Washington, ensuring our state and region have a seat at the table,” said Kuster. “Serving the people of New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District has been the honor of my life, and I’m proud of everything we have accomplished together over the years to make our state and New England such a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. I am honored to receive this distinction from the Council and extend my sincere congratulations to the other honorees!”

The New England Council is a nonpartisan alliance of business, academic, and health institutions that promotes economic growth across New England and is the country’s oldest regional business organization. Kuster has worked closely with the New England Council over her six terms representing New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District to advance commonsense, bipartisan solutions to support New England families, create good-paying jobs, and boost economic opportunity throughout the New England region.
